Audio Controls

• The problem with your audio may be with the settings. The sound may be muted or turned down, or the correct audio card not selected. Another problem may be the sound card may not have the right drivers installed.
  
  

Laptop Audio

• The audio on a laptop is a bit different than on a desktop. Laptops have built-in speakers that are weaker because they are small, and must be powered completely by the laptop.
  
  

Toshiba

• Reinstalling the drivers from your Toshiba disk or the Toshiba website may fix specific Toshiba-related problems. If the speakers in the Toshiba are actually broken, you may be able to play the audio on external speakers connected to the sound card.
