    • 1). Open ITunes and insert an MP3 DVD into computer. You should be prompted by ITunes as to whether you would like to add the tracks from the DVD to your library. Select "OK."

    • 2). Locate the extracted MP3 files in your ITunes library. They can be dragged directly from ITunes or from the music folder on your PC.

    • 3). Open Switch, or your conversion program, and drag the MP3 files into the field of "List of files to convert." Alternately, click the "Add Files" button in the conversion software, and locate the files on your PC.

    • 4). Select a file type from the "Output Format" field in Switch. Some of the more common formats other than MP3 are FLAC, WAV and AIFF.

    • 5). Select a location for the converted files in the "Output Folder" field. This is where your converted files will end up.

    • 6). Click "Convert." After the conversion is complete, you may locate your files in the output folder you selected, and move them back to a program like ITunes, where they can be put back on a new CD or DVD, or kept in a digital music library.
