The amount of anti-bird netting needed will depend the size of your structure. Connectors come in 3-way or 4-way designs; they are flexible and are strong in inclement weather.
Create a frame using the bamboo and connectors; use your creativity to build a cage to best fit the area you are trying to protect. Make sure that all poles coming into contact with the ground are pushed in and secured properly. You can create designs such as squares, rectangles and even L-shapes. This will need to be covered in netting; this can be done in two ways. The first is to staple the mesh to the frame, making sure that it is secure. The second is to thread the poles through the holes in the net. Using pegs, usually the steel groundsheet style are the most appropriate. Once you have covered the frame with net then you can peg it down.
You can use a variety of different netting types with the cage; insect and garden style meshing can offer greater protection from smaller animals and insects and also adding an amount of wind protection. Other materials may be used in conjunction with the frame such as garden fleece to protect plants over winter. Frost fleece is commonly draped over plants to stop heavy frost, snow and rain from damaging your plants.
