Until quite recently I had never heard of a lifestyle design or passive income.
I grew up thinking life was just a constant compromise of work and play.
The endless shift at work.
Then battling with traffic to get home to the love of my life and our two beautiful girls.
By the time dinner's all cleaned up I'd get around 1 hour 30 minuets of family time before the girls are in bed.

This isn't a lifestyle design at all it's a lifestyle without design! That's the problem!

So as with any design you've got to start by asking a few relevant questions.

• What excites you?
• What do you love to do most?
• What do you want to achieve in your life?
• Where would you most like to achieve that?
• Who would you most like to achieve it with?
• What sort of impact on others do you hope to make doing what you do?

These questions I found quite easy to answer as I'm a family man through and through: What excites me! My family is by far no.
1 then learning about historical characters that shaped our world and finally motor racing.
What I love to do most is travel to new beautiful places.
I've traveled as far as I can with a tight budget but there is so much more to see.
I also love PCs, from the day I built my first PC in the early 90's with Dad I've been hooked.
But by far what I love more than anything is watching my girls grow and learn new things every day.
What I want to achieve is to show our girls a world of infinite possibilities.
To teach them that life is too short to be working a job that's not fulfilling them.
Besides my family, I get a kick out of helping people.
Be it the guy over the road with his rundown old virus infested PC or the lady down the street struggling to remove a tree stump.
The gratitude and appreciation they give is an awesome feeling.
Where I'd like to achieve this is somewhere, anywhere on or around the Pacific Ocean, where the sea is clear and not so icy freaking cold! North Sea haters club anyone? Who I'd like to achieve this with has to be the love of my life and my two amazing girls.
The impact I'd like to make is to teach my readers, friends and people around me that,

There are so many different and wonderful ways to make a living online, doing what you love.

This new forward thinking toward lifestyle design is definitely not my own! I've had a massive turnaround in mind-set lately! Over the last 6 months of scouring the internet for new income ideas I came across business podcasts.
They changed my world and made me realize the job I thought would eventually come my way, was probably never going to appear.
"Time to take action".
