Belly fat is one of those ugly and sometimes unforgiving things.
Each and every day when you get dressed you're reminded of it.
Regardless if you have a 6-pack or gut that exceeds your belt-line, you can't miss it and you can't forget it.
Over time, I've experimented and considered different options to offer as a solution and I finally think I've found it.
A recipe for success grounded on keeping things simple and easy to repeat.
I won't go out on a limb and say that these are the only options, but I will say that these are foods that I've found to work and bottom line generate results.
Oatmeal is a great option for anyone and especially for those looking to reduce belly fat.
For binge eaters, it can help prevent dropping and level off your blood sugar levels.
Aside from that benefit, oatmeal is also rich in fiber and will keep you fuller for longer periods of time.
Although beneficial, be careful of which types of oatmeal you consume.
Your best option is one that is plain in flavor and low in sugar.
This will ensure that your blood sugar level maintains at a steady level while allowing you to add whichever topping you desire whenever.
Another one of your favorite breakfast foods, eggs, have been found to help people shed unwanted weight.
Research furnished by LSU revealed that people who ate eggs for breakfast opposed to bagels lost more weight.
One of the main reasons being, that eggs contain helpful nutrients like B12 which help your body to metabolize.
After eating breakfast and burning off all of that fat, a snack maybe inline.
One that I highly recommend is peanut butter.
Although highly fatty, a tablespoon or two can help belly bloating with a very powerful nutrient known as Niacin.
Lean fish and meats are another great option at your disposal.
Tuna, salmon, and turkey all contain Omega 3 vitamins which prevent the release of stress chemicals thereby lessening your abdominal fat.
Furthermore, lean meats and fish also are high in protein which is an important nutrient for muscle-building.
This is important because the more muscle you have the more energy your body requires to function.
The more energy the more nutrients like calories and fat will be burned.
If you're a vegetarian or just looking for different options to meat, beans and legumes are a great choice.
Not only do they contain very few calories, but they are also high in protein and fiber.
Eating them once a week can really help you to avoid saturated fats of some vegetables and meats which will ultimately help you to lose weight.
Last but certainly not least, I ask that you consider protein powder.
Although considered by most to be a product strictly associated with gyms and body building, protein can really pay off for you in a very big way.
The reason being, protein powders contain amino acids which help with building muscle, but at the same time they also burn fat.
A serving of powder with some low-fat milk or yogurt, and fruit and you've got a pretty tasty yet fat burning smoothie.
There you have it, six foods that are scientifically proven to burn belly fat.
I'm not saying that these are the only options but like the saying goes "the proof is in the pudding.
" And this could not be more obvious in this instance.
