Making Paper Collages Using Magazine Pages

    • 1). Cut out different images from magazines. Cut the images in different shapes and sizes. Cut out a variety of images in a variety of colors and patterns.

    • 2). Lay out the images on top of a piece of thick cardboard to get an idea of what layout you want.

    • 3). Paint rubber cement to the back of each of the magazine pieces and place them back on the cardboard. Overlap the magazine cut-outs on top of each other to cover up all of the cardboard.

    • 4). Mix one part school glue with two parts water to form a sealant for the collage.

    • 5). Paint a thin layer of the glue sealant on top of the collage, using a small paint brush, and allow the collage to dry.
