Some wholesale websites offer incense in many varieties and aromas at deep discounts.   Herbal incense is also more expensive than marijuana.  Marijuana has a street value of about 15 dollars a gram, and herbal incense averages about 20 dollars a gram.

Individuals are willing to spend the extra money in order to get there hands on these products without any legal problems.  All products that are sold come with a warning labels that reads –"not for human consumption".  This is because they have not been tested by the FDA yet.  These blends are still fairly new, so research is now being conducted on short and long term effects.

Herbal incense is gaining popularity with individuals that need to pass the occasional drug test. Most labs and screening centers don't test for the synthetic chemicals found in the herbs.   Therefore, herbal incense fans can enjoy these products and not worry about the occasional drug test.

Police and the DEA use field kits to test and see if drugs they find contain THC, the chemical in marijuana that federal law deems an illegal drug.??Only detailed, DEA analysis has shown that a combination of five synthetic chemicals is what gives smokers that marijuana-like high.??The DEA has included that specific combination in their list of controlled substances, but only detailed chemical analysis in a lab will find that combination of chemicals. The field test kits don't.
