How to Remove Dried Latex Paint From Clothes With GOJO
- 1). Fold several paper towels into a small stack. Place the stack of paper towels on a flat surface. Lay the paint stained clothing -- with the paint facing upward -- on top of the paper towels.
- 2). Dampen a cloth with cool water. Blot the paint with the cloth. Apply two or three drops of GOJO directly on the paint. Blot the GOJO into the clothing with the damp cloth.
- 3). Allow the GOJO to sit on the clothing for several minutes. Continue blotting the paint and applying the GOJO until the paint is removed. If the paint is still visible on the clothing, continue with the remaining steps.
- 4). Fill a small container with nail polish remover. Dampen the corner of a clean cloth in it. Alternatively, use rubbing alcohol as a substitute to nail polish remover.
- 5). Blot the dried paint with the corner of the cloth. Continue dampening the cloth with nail polish remover and blotting the paint until the paint is removed from the clothing.
- 6). Apply a prewash stain treatment to the area. Let the clothing sit for 15 minutes. Launder as you normally would.
