How to Create Fonts From Bitmaps

    • 1). Click "Start," then "Run," then type "eudcedit" in the open dialog box and click "OK." The "Select Code" dialog box is displayed.

    • 2). Click "OK" so the "Private Character Editor" grid is displayed.

    • 3). Using the "Tools" icons on the left, select the desired tool and place it on the grid. For example, selecting the "Hollow Rectangle" and clicking on the grid will add the rectangle to the font you are creating.

    • 4). Continue selecting the tools needed and clicking on the grid to create your font.

    • 5). Click "Edit," "Save Character As" and then "OK" to save the font bitmap in the coordinate and click "OK."

    • 6). Click "Edit," "Select Code" and click the coordinate and then click "OK." The font you created and saved is displayed. Click the "Rectangle Selection" icon on the left, select the font, click "Edit" and then "Copy," and the font is now in the clipboard for pasting into other documents. To retrieve this font for future editing, simply click "Edit," "Select Code" and click the coordinate representing the font you created.
