A Flat Iron Is the Secret for Super Straight Hair

If you want super straight hair but were born with curly locks, don't fret.
You can still get that straight, smooth look.
All you need is a flat iron.
The original ceramic flat iron is still considered the standard, but some of the new titanium models have received great reviews.
You can find flat irons in several different types and styles, including fashionable colors to coordinate with your décor.
You'll also find them with ergonomic designs and options.
So once you have one, how do you get that straight hair? Easy.
1.
Use some styling cream on your hair, but don't start too close to your hairline.
If your hair is extremely coarse or curly, try a straightening lotion or balm to help the flat iron do its job.
2.
Use a heat protective spray.
3.
Blow your hair completely dry.
Never use on damp hair.
4.
Now, take just a small section of hair at a time (about one or two inches) and clamp the iron closed as close to your hairline as you can get.
5.
Very slowly and smoothly, pull it down the section of hair.
That's it! Just do that for each section of hair and you should be all set for the latest styles.
Here are a couple of tricks that can help when you're using flat irons: - If you still have some "frizzies" at your hairline, spray a bit of hairspray on a toothbrush and use it to gently brush down the frizzies.
- For added shine and to make sure your hair stays nice and straight, use a bit of serum gloss for a finishing touch.
- Your flat iron is good for more than just straightening your hair.
Most can also be used for crimping or flipping.
- If you find that you're hair is snagging as you pull the iron down, try using smaller sections of hair.
