Pregnancy Defined Letter by a Letter in Nine Weeks - The First Week is P

P is for pregnancy and if you say pee to a pregnant woman she will probably produce on demand.
But there is so much more that that action that describes pregnancy.
How about passion, that had to be a component to get the ball rolling in the direction of procreation.
The passion it takes to want to become a parent.
With a partner, throw in some passion and you're pregnant.
That's how it starts.
There is a lot of pride in the power of pregnancy.
Each partner played a role in the pursuit of procreation.
Discovering that there is new life growing inside you is a powerful feeling.
Along with the feelings of power come protectiveness of this new little personality being formed in your body.
Proliferation of the family name holds promise.
An addition to the family is profound, whether it is the first or the fifth child, it is a promise of future generations.
Over the next few months, the first trimester, you will find that you are curious about what your baby will be like and what will his or her personality be.
Will the child be a blend of both parents, precocious or predatory, and is that predetermined? You will long to get a peek at that unborn, growing inside you and perhaps a sonogram will show you that you have a pair.
That would be something to ponder for sure.
Along the way, when you no longer puke every day, you may crave pancakes, pickles, and purple maternity clothes.
You will feel a partnership with your baby and his Daddy and the profundity of it all.
Some days you will just want to stay in your PJ's all day.
All of this is normal and should not preoccupy a lot of your mind and time.
There is a lot of preparation for this kind of event and profound decisions to make.
What to name the baby is sometimes the first disagreement in the family.
To prepare for this, names should be presented to the parties involved after the name is picked.
Does the Doctor predict when the birth will come or is it to be predetermined? Are you prepared with the overnight bag with clothes and necessities for you and the baby? Are you ready to "assume the position and push" saying a prayer as the contractions come.
If you have taken your pre-natal vitamins, prepared for this moment, prayed and pushed then it won't be long before you will be up to your ears in poop, know your pediatricians phone number by heart and hearing the patter of little feet.
There is a peacefulness about it all that is perfect.
Next week, Rrrrrrrrrrrr.
