• 1). Enter your iPod's "Settings" menu.
  
  
• 2). Select the "Music" option.
  
  
• 3). Choose "Volume Limit."
  
  
• 4). Drag the volume limit slider all the way right.
  
  

iPod Shuffle

• 1). Connect the Shuffle to your computer.
  
  
• 2). Select your iPod from "Devices" when iTunes loads.
  
  
• 3). Click the "Settings" tab in the iTunes window.
  
  
• 4). Deselect the "Limit Maximum Volume" check box.
  
  
• 5). Click the "Sync" or "Apply" button to save the changes to the Shuffle.
