How to Make Tiny Cupcakes

    • 1). Place the oven rack in the middle of the oven and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Fill the two tiny-muffin pans with the tiny-muffin liners.

    • 2). Combine the flour, salt and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl. Use the wire whisk to blend these ingredients together. Next, pour the milk and vanilla into a small mixing bowl and mix them together using a mixing spoon. Set both the mixtures aside.

    • 3). Add the butter and sugar in the large mixing bowl and beat them together using an electric mixer. Continue beating at medium-high speed for four minutes until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg to the mixture and beat until it is just about combined.

    • 4). Set the speed to low on the electric mixer and begin adding the flour and milk mixtures. Alternate between adding flour and milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Do not over-beat the mixture.

    • 5). Fill the tiny-muffin cups two-thirds full using a spoon. Place the cupcakes on the middle oven rack and bake for fifteen minutes. The tops of the tiny cupcakes will be golden when they are done.

    Frosting your cupcakes

    • 1). Add the confectioners sugar and butter to a medium mixing bowl. Beat on low speed until well blended.

    • 2). Pour in the vanilla extract and milk. Continue to beat the mixture for two minutes. Add more milk until the desired creamy texture is reached.

    • 3). Spread the icing onto the top of the tiny cupcakes using an icing spreader.
