Whether you want to get some fresh air outside or stay in and move at a slower pace, you are sure to find the perfect activity in the city that never sleeps. - Start the day (and year) off right in New York by having a leisurely brunch at B.B. bbkingblues.com - Get some fresh air and a little exercise at one of New York's outdoor ice skating rinks. Hit the ice at the The Pond at Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center Skating Rink or any other NYC skating rinks. Admission is usually under $20 or even free, plus a few more bucks for ice skate rentals if you haven't brought your own. Skating rinks open around 8:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. (contact the rink for specific times); the earlier you go, the less crowded the ice will be on New Year's Day.
