Growing old is supposed to be a bringer of wisdom in one's life.
One is less driven to make a killing in their careers, and is better able to stop and smell the roses.
One's passions also become less of a distraction in life, which can be directed to more fruitful endeavors that would benefit one's descendants.
If the above seems like an idealized picture of old age, that is because it partly is.
Getting old should not mean that one's zest for life and all it entails - including women - should taper down.
Unfortunately, society tends to think of those elderly people who are still interested in the opposite sex as 'dirty old men.
' On the other hand, old age really does bring a sense of contentment in one's life.
If one has achieved an empire in youth, they should be able to cherish it all the more in old age, without necessarily losing zeal in their career.
When it comes to sexual matters, one may never have been happier with their spouse than at present.
This does not mean that the sex is going to be the same as before.
The word 'erectile dysfunction' may pop up, as some menacing threat.
However, a lot of the stigma involved in erectile dysfunction has been developed by the media.
The truth is that having an erection is not everything.
One could be truly happy without having to display their sexual prowess.
