How to Clean the Inside of Leather Coats
- 1). Dampen a clean sponge with warm water. Wring out any excess moisture.
- 2). Sprinkle powdered laundry detergent onto the sponge.
- 3). Turn your leather coat inside out and gently scrub the lining with the damp sponge. Be careful not to wet the leather portion of the coat.
- 4). Rinse out the sponge, thoroughly, and re-dampen it with warm water. Wring out excess moisture and wipe down the lining to remove any detergent residue.
- 5). Hang the leather coat, while inside out, on a hanger and allow to air dry.
