Hi. My name is Zach. And I wanted to show you how to recover lost icons. So here I am on my Windows computer and let's say that you needed to get an Adobe Photoshop icon back on your desktop. A way you can do that is going in to the explorer go to computer, go in to your C drive, program files, Adobe, Adobe Photoshop and then scroll down until you find the application. You'll know it's the application when it says type application. So now I can right click and copy. I can close out of this. In order to get this desktop icon back I can right click I could either paste the full icon there or just its shortcut. I'm just going to place its shortcut. So I've placed its shortcut and now I have Photoshop shortcut. I can rename this just to Photoshop. And I could also right click, go to properties, and I can change my icon her to any icon that I wanted. These are just examples they have here. Now if you wanted to get a desktop icon or your libraries or documents, what we could do is go in to our explorer again, go to documents, right click and hit copy. Now if you right click again and paste the shortcut to my documents and now if I double click here it brings me right to my documents. My name is Zach and I just showed you how to retrieve some desktop icons. Thanks for watching.
