How to Receive a Copy of Deportation Papers
- 1). Obtain form G-639 through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. It can be printed out by visiting its website or obtained in person at your nearest USCIS office.
- 2). Follow the instructions carefully. Enough accurate information must be produced to get the correct records, which includes a notarized identification of the applicant. If you are seeking information about another person, you must produce proof that you are a U.S. citizen and that you have the notarized written permission of that person.
- 3). Mail the application into USCIS branch of the National Records Center in Missouri. An electronic application may be accepted through the USCIS website if the notarized identification papers can be scanned legibly.
- 4). Pay any applicable fees to the precise amount if requested. There is a charge of 10 cents per page after the first 100 pages of documents produced. There is an hourly labor charge after the first two hours spent locating the requested documents.
