How Do I Get a New Battery for a 4G Ipod?
- 1). Launch your Internet browser and make your way to the Service and Repair area of the Apple website (complete ink available in "Resources").
- 2). Look on the back of your iPod. There is a serial number ID listed. Type this number into the "Hardware Serial Number" bar.
- 3). Select "Apple Support" then sign into your Apple iTunes account. Its the same account name and password you use to log into iTunes and download content to your iPod.
- 4). Click "Continue," then type a message explaining that your battery is no longer working. Submit the order and Apple will send you information about where to mail your iPod. The exact location changes depending on your location in the world. Send your iPod to the Apple Service and Repair center and in a week or so you should receive your 4G iPod back with a fresh new battery.
