How to Decorate a Vinyl Tote
- 1). Purchase paint pens at the craft store and write words or phrases on your bag. You can also draw designs, swirls or zigzags. Paint pens come in all colors, so decorate it as you wish.
- 2). Place foam stickers all over your bag. Foam stickers come in themed packages at the craft store, so you can decorate your bag accordingly. You can also find foam letters and shapes. Simply peel off the paper backing and put the sticker on your bag.
- 3). Create 3D decorations for your bag using scraps of leather or vinyl. Cut out several flower shapes in graduating sizes and punch a hole in the middle. Cut a piece of wire and thread a bead onto it. Push the two ends of the wire through the holes in the flower, so the bead is on the top of all the flower shapes. Punch a hole in the bag and thread the wired flower through, securing it on the inside of the bag. Make several flowers or other shapes and place them all over your bag.
