Organic Ways to Prevent Mildew from Growing on a Stone Patio
- 1). Spray white vinegar on the mildew and let set for several minutes. Spray again and wash off.
- 2). Mix 1 tbsp. of eucalyptus oil with 1 tbsp. of methylated spirits. Add 2 cups of water and spray the affected spots. Let dry and spray again until the mildew disappears.
- 3). Mix thoroughly 2 cups of water with 2 drops of tea tree oil. Spray on the mildew and let dry for two hours. Spray again if necessary and let sit overnight. Spray again and wipe the mildew off from the stone.
