How to Round Numbers to the Nearest Dollar in Microsoft Access

    • 1). Launch Microsoft Access.

    • 2). Click "Open" on the left side of the window to open an existing database, or click "Create" on the right side of the window to create a new database.

    • 3). Click "All Access Objects" on the left side of the window, then click "Tables."

    • 4). Double-click your existing table to open it, or click the "Create" tab at the top of the window, then click "Table" in the "Tables" section of the ribbon.

    • 5). Right-click the "Table" tab at the top of your table, then click "Design View."

    • 6). Click the "Currency" drop-down menu under "Data Type" for the field that you want to change, then click "Number."

    • 7). Right-click the "Table" tab at the top of the table, then click "Datasheet View."

    • 8). Click "Yes" to save the table and see your table with the rounded numbers.
