A pressed daisy picture frame featuring a family photo is an excellent craft for someone who wants to create something special without spending a lot of money. If the gift is for your parents or a family member, you can feature a family photo. If the gift is for a friend, choose a photo of you and your friend. Buy 8-by-10 card stock, and select a photo that is 5-by-7. Buy pressed flowers or make them yourself.

You can make pressed flowers by placing real flowers between tissue paper and heavy items such as books. Leave the flowers alone for a few days until they are pressed flat. Glue the photo in the middle of the card stock, and then glue pressed daises along the border of the photo or in various open places of the card stock. Find an attractive frame, and frame your creation.

Place various ingredients in the jar such as 1/4 cup of green lentils, 2 tsp. of dried onion flakes, 1 1/2 tbsp. of chicken bullion, 1 cup of egg noodles, 1 tbsp. of dried herbs, 1 tsp. of pepper and 2 tsp. of garlic powder. The dried ingredients will give a layered look to the jar. Seal the jar, and then place the fabric directly on top. Tie a ribbon around the neck of the jar.
