How to Get Rid of a Black Toilet Ring Stain
- 1). Place a pair of rubber gloves on your hands and soak paper towels in white vinegar. Press the paper towels firmly around the toilet bowl ring and let sit for an hour. The vinegar naturally breaks up the ring while disinfecting as well.
- 2). Remove the paper towels and discard in the trash. Pour 2 cups white vinegar and 2 cups baking soda into the toilet bowl.
- 3). Scrub the toilet bowl with your toilet brush to clean the toilet and dissolve any leftover black ring. Flush the toilet and scrub again as needed until all residue is gone.
- 4). Clean the toilet weekly by pouring 2 cups white vinegar and 2 cups baking soda into the toilet bowl. Let the mixture sit in the toilet for at least an hour, then scrub the toilet bowl clean with your toilet brush. Flush the toilet when finished cleaning.
