Get your ingredients! Aside from the obvious rack of pork spare ribs, which you can obtain from Costco for just 8 bucks, you need some other ingredients as well. You're also going to need 1 cup of brown sugar, 3 cups of cider vinegar and 1 cup of barbecue sauce.
Once you have your ingredients, remove the membrane from the side of the bone. This is a lot easier than you may think! Using a small paring knife, separate it and then pull on it. Dispose of membrane in a trash can. Now, slather the ribs with your brown sugar generously.
Turn the ribs over with the meat side facing down. Pour in the vinegar. Allow the ribs to marinade for a couple of hours. - 2

Turn the oven on and set it to broil. Remove the marinade and allow the ribs to broil until they begin to turn brown. This usually takes no more than 15 minutes. Be sure to look out for your ribs and make sure they don't burn! Turn the pan around in the oven to broil evenly.
Now, decrease the temperature of the oven to 375 degrees. Let the ribs cook for about 20 minutes longer. Pull the ribs out of the oven and generously apply your barbecue sauce. - 3
