How to Make Fringed Throw Pillows
- 1). Lay one square of fabric right-side up. Beginning halfway across one edge, pin on the trim with the fringe facing the center of the square. Place the pins across the trim with the trim lined up with the edge of fabric.
- 2). Curve the trim around the corners of the fabric and keep pinning trim around all four sides until reaching the starting place. Over lap the trim 1-inch and curve the ends toward the edge of the fabric slightly.
- 3). Sew the trim onto the fabric with a 1/4-inch seam, removing the pins as you stitch to prevent bending the sewing machine needle.
- 4). Pin the other fabric square onto the sewn fabric making sure the edges are lined up and the fringe is lying flat and away from the pins.
- 5). Sew a 3/8-inch seam around the pillow leaving a 3- to 4-inch opening. Back stitch at the beginning and end to prevent unraveling.
- 6). Turn the pillow case right side out and push the pillow form into the pillow case. Hand sew the opening closed using a small blind stitch.
