How to Make a Balloon Turkey
- 1). Blow up one of the red balloons. Put enough air in the balloon so that it is firm but not tight. Tie off the neck of the balloon.
- 2). Make the head by partially blowing the up a long, skinny, yellow balloon. Leave enough space at the top of the balloon for the turkey's nose. Tie off the neck of the balloon.
- 3). Take the second red balloon and tie it to the nose on the turkey head to form the turkey's wattle.
- 4). Connect the head and the body by tying the knotted off ends together. Wrap a rubber band around the knotted off ends if they are not long enough to tie together.
- 5). Draw turkey feet on a piece of cardboard. Make the feet large enough to balance the weight of the turkey body on it. Cut the feet out with a craft knife or sharp scissors.
- 6). Attach the turkey body to the feet with tape. Draw wings, feathers and facial features on the turkey with permanent markers, or paint them on with acrylic paints.
- 7). Hold relay races with the turkeys. See who can bounce their turkey across the room first or play turkey volleyball until dinner is served.
