How do you know that you're in love?
Love is an unconditional affection that you have for someone that gives you happiness and satisfaction you desired in life. Though, some mistake infatuations (urge for sex, beauty, emotions, desire for wealth) as love. Love is sacrificial, not thinking of what to gain from the other person it is all about giving. The do you know that you are truly in love with someone? When you are in love the connection between you and the person entails open communication, trust on both ends, affection, and the ability to get close to each other without having to introduce sex into the equation, intimacy is a big part of love, but most people mistake intimacy for sex, intimacy is being able to be close to a person and show that the emotional connection you all shared, that can also be translated to a physical connection of closeness and togetherness.
Being in love is more than just a feeling. Love is a mutual connection, but if sex, money, or anything other than trust and communication are the basis for your feelings, it isn't love. Love must have sense of admiration and affection; you are in love when somebody is more important to you than yourself, when you feel the utmost admiration and affection towards someone, when you have unquestionable loyalty to someone, when you are ready to die for another person if necessary.
When you are in Love you wonder how you could ever be without him/her, and you idolize every little thing about him/her -even if it's a fault, love is forgiveness. When you are willing to sacrifice everything you have for that person even though you have nothing.
You feel incomplete without him by your side, no matter how many people are with you, you have a slight, aching loneliness that won't fade entirely away if he isn't near, no one can replace his/her thought in you. Nobody else matters to you the same as him/her.
When he/she is always in your mind & in your heart
- You feel emotionally linked to him/her
- When you think of your life without them, it makes you sad
- You are always happy to see them - even if only for a few minutes
- You would go out of your way to do things for them when he/she don't even need to ask; you would be willing to help them whenever and wherever.
When you are emotionally and mentally attached to the person you loved, you will begin to realize that your life wouldn't be complete without him/her by your side. You can't bear to be away from him/her for too long, you start feeling incomplete without him/her. You are always complete and everything is perfect with him/her around you and it is like nothing can go wrong.
You don't hide anything about you from him/her and you always trust him/her with everything.
Love is worth any pain and wait.
You consider him/her your best friend in the world. He is your joy, your happiness, your life and your world without him/her life is meaningless to you.
Love is when you care about the other person more than you care about yourself. When his happiness means more to you than your happiness or anything else in the world. As I said earlier Love is when you're happy to make sacrifices just to see the person smile.
Some people when they are in love, they usually get wet and cold on the palms of both of my hands. In other words, they get this weird, itchy shiver in their stomach, and at the same time, it feels really overwhelming to bear. It is hard to describe the feelings and emotions they had received at tmes, because everyone in this world has their own indistinctive signs of showing love and admiration for another. I some get really nervous and blush to the fullest (red) apple-like color, especially when the love of their life tells me she is beautiful face to face. Some feel sweating, getting nervous, clumsy, having day/night dreams about them being together for the rest of their life, picturing yourself being married to him/her and having sex, etc. - those are all signs of infatuation/crushes, not love. Love and infatuation are two very different things. Infatuations are just sexual and emotional feelings for someone while love is an unconditional affection for someone. What most people considered Love is mere infatuation. Once again love those think to gain, it is kind and gentle, humble and honest, caring and passionate, forgiven and peaceful. So if you possessed these qualities then you know you are truly in love with someone.
