Spray Paint

  Corrugated metal takes spray paint very well. First, tape off the areas you don't want painted. Spray an even coat of primer over the corrugated metal. Make sure you wear a respirator mask for this task. After the primer has dried, spray a fresh coat of paint. For an even finish, spray a second coat after the first coat has dried. Semi-gloss paint looks great on metal, but a matte finish can give you a more subdued, subtle look.
  
  

Hang Panels

• If you have a large room that could use a dividing wall but you don't want to frame in a permanent wall, cut corrugated metal to the desired size and hang it from the ceiling. Screw heavy-duty I-screws into the ceiling joists and then hang the corrugated metal with chains. These panels make temporary walls that can make your room feel more intimate.
  
  

Focal Point

• Instead of lining all the walls in a room with corrugated metal, choose just one wall to create a focal point. Interlock the panels together to cover one entire wall, and screw them to the wall or wall studs behind to secure them. A single metal wall makes a great backdrop for an entertainment system or a stunning piece of art. A piano also looks great in front of a metal wall.
  
  

Backsplash

• Modernize your kitchen by creating a backsplash out of corrugated metal. Measure the distance between the top of your countertop and the bottom of your cabinets. Cut sheets of metal to this height and then interlock them together. Screw them into the wall. Your backsplash will be very easy to keep clean and will reflect under-cabinet lighting.
  
  

Sloped Ceilings

• Draw attention upward by installing corrugated metal onto sloped ceilings. Sloped ceilings, especially in upstairs bedrooms, tend to make rooms feel small. Reflective metal lifts the focus upward, and the waves in the metal add the perception of height. Interlock the panels together, and screw them into the ceiling. Get several people to help you hold them in place while you install them.
