How to Set Up Pro Tools HD
- 1). Insert the software installation CD into the disc drive of the computer, then wait for the Pro Tools HD installation wizard to load.
- 2). Click "Next" on the welcome screen, then scroll through and accept the end-user license agreement.
- 3). Plug the Pro Tools HD dongle into one of the USB ports on the computer. You must have this dongle inserted into the computer whenever you are attempting to use the program. If the dongle is not connected the software is not going to load.
- 4). Type in the access code found on the piece of cardboard hanging from the dongle. This access code specifies that the dongle came with the specific Pro Tools HD software.
- 5). Click "Next," then accept both the installation name and location.
- 6). Choose "Install" to install the program and complete the Pro Tools HD setup.
