How to Clean Soap Scum From a Shower Stall

    • 1). Fill the spray bottle halfway with water and then to the top with white vinegar. Close the bottle and shake it to mix the ingredients well.

    • 2). Spray the white vinegar generously over the entire shower stall area, coating the fixtures, the walls and the floor. Allow the vinegar to sit on these surfaces for up to 10 minutes.

    • 3). Pour approximately 1/2 cup of baking soda out into a shallow bowl.

    • 4). Dip the scrub brush into the baking soda and apply the baking soda to the shower surfaces with the scrub brush. Scrub the baking soda thoroughly into the shower stall surfaces, adding more baking soda to the scrub brush as necessary. Continue scrubbing the surfaces with the baking soda on the scrub brush until you scrub all surfaces where you saw soap scum.

    • 5). Rinse away the vinegar and baking soda from the shower stall surfaces with warm water. The combination of vinegar and baking soda should leave these surfaces clean and free of soap scum.
