Often, the problem with grant searches is that they end up not as specific as the interests of the people seeking them. This is unfortunately the case with Hispanic construction grants. The situation, however, is far from hopeless. Applicants will yield better results if they search broader categories of grants and loans, such as those for minority businesses or for Hispanic/Latino businesses more generally. - When looking for government grants in this context, you will not find much under Hispanic minority searches. These are mostly for educational purposes. You therefore should look under business grants. The grants, however, are not geared toward isolated businesses or industries such as construction. They do cover many basic expenses, consulting efforts and legal fees. Grants in 2010 may reach as high as $250,000. The government encourages you to contact them for the package containing further details and information.
U.S. Government Business Grants
usagovernmentgrants.org - Another organization you can investigate is the Small Business Administration. It reserves grant monies for minority-owned small business looking to gain financial aid. It does not detail exactly how much money is available to each applicant until you have begun the process. It will ask you what you plan to do with the money should you receive it. It will also prompt you to write a little on what distinguishes you from other applicants: In other words, why you should get the money and not them. There is a $24.95 fee for starting the application.

There are a number of sources available to Hispanic businesses such as construction. This is especially the case if you can show service to the Hispanic community. Wells Fargo is one option that offers loans as well as lines of credit. You can set the term limits for up to five years and borrow sums ranging from 10,000 to $100,000. You can apply in person at your local Wells Fargo office or begin the online process.
