On the basis on its purpose different types of flooring are used in different cases.
Suppose for using at kitchen or bathroom one should need hard flooring than using at bed room purpose.
On the other hand in some places where there is needed harder, high strength, durable and smooth flooring than it must need to use hard flooring system.

Hardwood floors can be used at any place in the house.
It is suitable to be used in kitchen where there is chance of dropping water to the floor.
They can be installed on concrete slabs, over existing wood floors, above and below grade.
To install on concrete slab moisture should be controlled.
Engineered wood sub-floor should be placed in correct position before installation.
At first the beginning point of the installation should be chosen.
It can be a fireplace or any place but it is suggested that you start from a corner.
Border should be installed first to make the final installation symmetrical.
Use a chalk line to make it a reference point before placing your first board.
Then align your first row with that chalk line to ensure that all the other rows are placed in a straight line.
Test fit the boards that you have to cover the room as the boards are delivered with random lengths.
Test fitting would ensure you that this arrangement is correct.
Distance from one joint to another should be 12 inches.
The fasteners are hidden by tongue and groove boards.
A fastener is taken through the tongue of one board and is covered by the next board.
In the face nailing process boards can be glued and there would be adhesive strips on the flooring.
Another thing you should keep in mind that you have to choose the longest wood boards for the first row, you can also choose the ones with the widest planks.
When installing the next rows you should move a short board and give a rap to tight the second row against the first row and so on.
