How to Prepare Raclette
- 1). Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2). Remove the rind from the cheese with a sharp knife. Slice 4 oz. of raclette cheese for one serving.
- 3). Place the cheese on an oven-safe plate. Place the plate in the oven as close to the heat source as possible until it begins to bubble and melt.
- 4). Put unpeeled cooked small potatoes, Black Forest ham slices, small ripe tomatoes, small whole pickles and pickled onions on a platter.
- 5). Pour the cheese over the food on the platter.
