Honda is a Japanese automaker that produces cars and motorcycles. Their vehicles are shipped all over the world, with the Honda Civic and Accord listed as two of the top 10 best selling cars in the United States by Bankrate.com. Since these vehicles are not made in the states, when a problem occurs, special tools are often required to work on them. - A bushing extractor is used in Hondas and Acuras to quickly remove and install bushings. Bushing extractors make it possible to remove parts without having to lift the vehicle. These tools also help when accessing brake parts without having to remove the brakes or the parts themselves. There are specific bushing extractors made for different makes and models; make sure that you are using one that is specific to your Honda.
- Another specialty tool designed just for Honda is a shaft seal installer. This tool helps to seal the engine and install balance and cam seals without having to take out any more engine parts than absolutely necessary. Most major engine components will not have to be removed if this tool is used.
- A counter master holder is used to counter the rotation of the crank shaft. This specialty tools works well for Hondas as well as Acuras.
- Installing an oil seal can be a difficult task. The crank shaft oil seal set helps to properly balance the oil seal.
- A puller is used to help remove valves. You will also need a slide hammer to operate this tool. This puller can be used in most every Honda model manufactured from the 1990s up to current models.
