How to Port Forward for Minecraft
- 1). Log in to your router's configuration menu, and click on the "Port Forwarding" link in the "Advanced" section of the navigation pane.
- 2). Select the "Port Forwarding" option, and then click on the "Add Custom Service," or similarly named, button below.
- 3). Type "Minecraft" in the "Service Name" field, select "TCP/UDP" from the "Protocol" drop-down menu, type "25565" in the "Starting Port" and "Ending Port" fields, and then type your computer's IP address in the "Server IP Address" field.
- 4). Click "Apply" and log out of your router's configuration menu. The "Minecraft" port has now been forwarded and you are ready to play the multiplayer mode.
