Steps in Keeping a Kitchen Clean
- 1). Degrease your oven and stove top after each use. Spray each surface down with a commercial degreaser and wipe any food spills with a mildly abrasive scrubber.
- 2). Sprinkle baking soda inside your sink. Use a stiff scrub brush to clean and disinfect all surfaces at least once a day.
- 3). Sprinkle baking soda throughout your dishwasher then run through the shortest cycle to keep any smells away.
- 4). Fill a small pail with hot water and add a few drops of liquid dish detergent. You can also make this mixture right in the sink.
- 5). Wipe out your microwave daily. Wash the inside with the soapy-water mixture from Step 4. Clean the window and tray with standard window cleaner.
- 6). Clean off your countertops with a cloth and the soapy-water mixture. Use a mildly abrasive scrubber on any tough food spills.
- 7). Scrub away any spills in the refrigerator as soon as they happen. Once a week, wipe the inside and outside of the refrigerator down with a cloth and the commercial degreaser.
- 8). Wet a paper towel and use it to clean any crumbs from your kitchen floor each day.
