    • 2). Pour the concrete stain into a plastic spray bottle and begin spraying the surface with the sprayer for a natural stone finish.

    • 3). Move from side to side over the entire area and cover the concrete with the desired color finish. Allow it time to dry overnight.

    Staining for a uniform color

    • 1). Brush the surface of the concrete with a broom and dust pan. Remove any small pieces of dirt and debris from the area and spray the concrete clean with a garden hose to dampen the surface.

    • 2). Spray the desired color onto the concrete with the spray bottle for a uniform finish. Cover the entire area with the color and smooth out the surface with a 3/8-inch damp roller.

    • 3). Move over the entire surface, back and forth until a uniform and even color is achieved throughout. Wait overnight for the first coat to dry. Add a second coat, if necessary for a less transparent look.

    Staining for a multi-color finish

    • 1). Brush the surface of the concrete with a broom and dust pan. Remove any small pieces of dirt and debris from the area and spray the concrete clean with a garden hose to dampen the surface.

    • 2). Spray on the first color of semi-transparent stain with a plastic sprayer until you get the desired amount of color and coverage from the first color.

    • 3). Spray a second color over the first color immediately and add a third color in the same manner, if desired. Allow the stain to dry overnight and apply high gloss sealer with a spray bottle the next day to seal the concrete.
