How to Use USB to Upload Things to the Samsung Android

    • 1). Connect your Samsung Android smartphone to the computer with a USB cable. A compatible cable is included with the phone.

    • 2). Touch the “USB” icon on your phone's home screen, and then touch “Mass Storage.”

    • 3). Touch “Mass Storage.” Drag the Notifications page down from the top of the screen. Touch “USB Connected,” then touch “Mount.”

    • 4). Click “Start” on your computer, and then click “Computer.”

    • 5). Double-click the Samsung's icon under “Removable Devices” to open the phone's folder on the computer. Double-click “DCIM” and open the folder in which you want to store data. Folder options include “Music” and “Pictures.”

    • 6). Open the computer folder containing the data you want to upload to your Samsung Android.

    • 7). Drag the data files to the Samsung's open folder. Drop the files in the phone's folder to upload them to the phone's memory card.

    • 8). Disconnect the Samsung when you finish the upload.
