• Mark a 50th birthday for your teacher by making a scrapbook. • Giving a time capsule as a gift is a thoughtful way to celebrate a 50th birthday. Place newspapers or specific magazine articles from the last 50 years inside the capsule. Include popular retail items from the year the celebrant was born or a list of the headlines from the birth day. • Throw a party either at the end of the school day or at lunch. Decorations such as balloons with "Happy 50th!" and banners acknowledging this milestone birthday can be hung in the classroom.
