If You Have Something Against the United States of America - I Have Something Against You!

There's nothing wrong with the United States of America, it is indeed the greatest nation ever created in the history of mankind.
However, much of the world is either jealous, has never visited the US, or doesn't understand what we are all about here.
Sometimes I think our own citizens don't understand how great we are, and how good they have it.
It's as if we are taking everything for granted.
Okay so let's talk about this for a second shall we? The reason being is that John Kerry the new Secretary of State had made some interesting comments in the media while traveling abroad.
Mr.
John Kerry the former presidential candidate has just recently stated that the US citizens had the right to be ignorant.
Well, that's not the only statement he made, because while he was running for office he made a speech out in Pasadena California where he stated that kids needed to go to college so they didn't end up in a dead end job joining the military and getting shot up in Iraq.
That really bothered me because I come from a military family, and because my brother who was a C-130 US Marine Corps pilot was actually needed in the Anbar province when President Bush needed boots on the ground, even though my brother had a flight contract and was a pilot.
It is noble and very American to serve in our military, and trust me my brother is no society reject, he has two advanced degrees and he's probably smarter than most anyone reading this article.
Personally, I don't like it when our president or secretaries of state travel abroad and apologizes for America's success, strength, or ways of thinking.
If someone has a problem against the United States of America or the people within it, including any leaders we have, well then, I guess I have something against them - just as I would if a foreign leader started talking trash about the United States, the country I love, or all of us citizens living here.
Indeed, I don't take too kindly to that.
I don't think we have to run around the world and apologize for being great, nor do I believe that we need to shut our mouths and act timid or overly casual or modest about our greatness.
There is nothing wrong with being great, there's nothing wrong with the United States of America, but somewhere along the line we became busy trying to make everyone else feel good, talking ourselves down, and allowing our politicians to speak out of two sides of their mouth when they are dressing foreign dignitaries or us as citizens.
Either these politicians know America is great, or we clearly don't need them.
So, maybe it's time that they got on the right side of history, and realized that if it were not for the US, the world would look totally different right now, and I guarantee you no one would be the better for it.
Please consider all this and think on it.
