How to Take the Bolt Out of an Airsoft Tactical X-9
- 1). Place the bath towel on a table. Remove the magazine clip from the bottom of the X-9 while push down the magazine clip release on the X-9 directly above the magazine clip. Release the magazine clip release.
- 2). Place the X-9 on the bath towel with the handle facing away from you and the barrel facing to the left. Remove the screw cap from the screw pin that is in front of the trigger guard with the 3mm hex key. Pull the screw cap off the screw pin with your fingers. Unscrew the screw pin from the X-9 with the Hex key. Pull the screw pin out of the X-9 with your fingers once it is protruding up from the Airsoft weapon.
- 3). Rotate the X-9 so that the barrel is facing to the left and the handle is facing toward you. Push down on the release lever just below the tip of the barrel with your fingers. Pull the magazine well that is below the release lever down and off the X-9.
- 4). Rotate the X-9 so that the barrel is facing to the right and the handle is facing toward you. Remove the screw from above and to the left of the trigger guard with the hex key. Lift up the X-9. Remove the screw from the other side of the X-9 that is in the same position as the screw just removed with the hex key. Place the X-9 back onto the bath towel.
- 5). Pull down on the stock behind the hammer assembly of the X-9 to reveal a screw at the top. Remove the screw with the hex key.
- 6). Pull back on the hammer assembly to reveal three screws at the back of the firing chamber receiver assembly. Remove the three screws with the Phillips jeweler's screwdriver
- 7). Push down on the end of the firing chamber receiver that just had the screws removed from it with one hand while pulling up on the other end of the firing chamber receiver with the other hand.
- 8). Remove the bolt from inside the front of the firing chamber receiver with your fingers. Wipe off the bolt with the soft cloth. Blow out the firing chamber receiver with compressed air. Reverse the disassembly of the X-9 to reassemble it.
