Understanding What Performing Artists Need

Performing artists, models and other talent, we understand exactly what you are going through when you are trying to set your career on the right track.
Frustration for one thing.
With so many avenues, tools and "experts" in your ear, it is difficult to discern which is the proper path to take.
Luckily, many of the monitors assigned to guide the net down a more credible path are finally starting to make their presence felt.
Of course, there are not nearly enough "patrolling the net" to keep you safe from predators and unscrupulous operators, but their out there.
No doubt that through these difficult times, whatever money you have to spend needs to be done so as judiciously as possible.
You need to receive incremental results every step of the way, on your road to the "big picture".
No incremental lip service but actual results.
Actors, dancers, singers, rappers, comedians, models, musicians and other performers take heed.
From the beginning a clear and concise "plan of action" must be laid out and adhered to, on both sides (you the artist and the service provider you choose).
It is not enough to hope, wish and dream.
All of your efforts and expense must bear fruit in order to insure (as reasonably as possible) that your ultimate goal has a chance to be achieved.
I use terms like "reasonably as possible" and "ultimate goal has a chance to be achieved" because, in spite of the best efforts, no one can guarantee total success in establishing an artists entertainment career.
There are to many variables and you need to be aware of this.
However, by starting off with a "clear and concise" plan of action and instituting incremental checkpoints to make sure that things are moving along at a feasible, agreed to pace, you enhance the chance for achieving your goals while minimizing any negative results or backlash.
Without relying on goodwill or good intentions, this method will help insure that you keep gathering the building blocks necessary for you to reach some modicum of success, if not your ultimate goal.
A dose of reality is never wrong and serves as a great barometer for you, should you become a very successful performer.
To many artists who achieve success often lose their way and get caught up in things that are detrimental to maintaining a successful career.
Remember, once you reach lofty heights it is your responsibility to maintain your position, if not expanding it further.
Contrary to popular belief, when you become a known public figure, you do acquire a reasonable assumption of being a role model.
Let nobody fool you about that.
