How to Clean Stainless Steel Appliances
- 1). Rub down the entire stainless steel area to be cleaned with a damp cloth of warm soapy water.
- 2). Repeat this process using rubbing alcohol or vinegar with a soft cloth.
- 3). Apply a small amount of commercial stainless steel cleaner with a damp, soft cloth. Rub in the direction of the "grain" lines on the stainless steel appliance's finish.
- 4). Remove hard or stubborn stains, grease or baked-on foods with a nylon scouring pad and a hot, caustic soda solution. Refer to the owner's manual for instructions to prevent scratching surface.
- 5). Rinse entire surface of the appliance with warm water.
- 6). Apply a small amount of baby oil to a paper towel and rub down the entire surface of the stainless steel appliance.
