Halloween Games for Adults
- Adults love a good story. For this Halloween tale you will need a friend or spouse to help you. One person will tell the story while the other will hand out the "body parts." Either tell your tale in a darkened room and insist on your guests closing their eyes or blindfold everyone. Seeing the goodies will ruin the experience. Say something like "Here lies our friend, James. He died but left a few things behind for us." Then say, "He left his eye balls," and hand everyone two olives. Next say, "Here lies our friend, James, but he left a few things behind for us. Here are his teeth." Hand the guest uncooked popcorn kernels. Keep going by using wet faux fur for hair, cooked cauliflower for brains and cooked spaghetti for intestines.
- Before the party, head to the costume or dollar store and choose some cheap costumes and wigs. Fill up two plastic tubs with bow ties, bras, spandex shorts and old clothes including dresses. Divide your party into two groups. At the finish line, place two plastic tubs full of the costume choices. Spray-paint a finish line about ten feet away. This relay race is funny to play and funny to watch. Tell guests that they must, one at a time, put on all the clothes and run to the finish line. At the finish line, guests will strip down and run the outfits back to the beginning for the next guest to put on. Whichever team finishes first wins! Give a goofy prize to the winning team.
- Spend some time before the party collecting horror movie trivia. Make a list of questions and refuse to let anyone see them or the answers. Dim the lights in the living room and light some candles for spooky ambiance. You could play a horror movie in the background; just turn it on mute so guests can hear you. Again, divide your guests into team teams and let them compete against each other. Give a scary prize, like chocolate eye balls, to the winning team.
