Adobe Photoshop

• 1). Open Photoshop. Click "File" in the top menu bar and select "Open."
  
  
• 2). Locate the BMP file in the resulting window and open it by double-clicking its icon.
  
  
• 3). Click "File" again and select "Save As."
  
  
• 4). Give the file a name, select a save location, and then choose "Photoshop PDF" from the "Format" drop-down menu.
  
  
• 5). Click "Save."
  
  
• 6). Set your PDF export options (e.g., image compression, color, security) by selecting the tabs along the left-hand side of the resulting dialog box, and then click "Save PDF."
  
  

OpenOffice.org Draw

• 1). Open the Draw program. Click "File" in the top menu bar and select "Open."
  
  
• 2). Locate the BMP file in the resulting window and open it by double-clicking its icon.
  
  
• 3). Click "File" again and select "Export as PDF."
  
  
• 4). Set your PDF creation options (e.g., image compression, magnification, security) by selecting the tabs along the top of the resulting dialog box, and then click "Export."
  
  
• 5). Give the file a name, select a save location, and then click "Save."
  
  

Zamzar

• 1). Open a Web browser and navigate to the Zamzar website (see Resources).
  
  
• 2). Click "Choose File." Locate the BMP file on your computer in the resulting window and select it by double-clicking its icon.
  
  
• 3). Select "pdf" from the "Choose the format to convert to" drop-down menu.
  
  
• 4). Enter your email address in the adjacent field.
  
  
• 5). Click "Convert." Your BMP image will be converted to PDF format, generally within a few minutes. Once complete, a download link will be sent to the email address you provided in the previous step.
