    • 1). Cover the tables with neutral-colored tablecloths that let your decorations shine. Neutral shades allow the cookies to reign supreme on the table.

    • 2). Create a table centerpiece with gingerbread men decorations. Place a candle holder in the center of the table with ceramic houses arranged around it. Lean smaller decorations against the sides of the houses, including cookie cutters, old-fashioned cookie-shaped ornaments and homemade gingerbread men. Keep the larger items grouped together in the center with the smaller items on the outside edges.

    • 3). Stack decorative gift boxes on a corner of the table. The gift boxes not only add color to the room, but give your guests a way of taking home their cookie hauls.

    • 4). Hang vintage or modern aprons from the walls in the main room. Display a few favorite mixing bowls and baking utensils to remind guests of how the cookies are made.

    • 5). Print out the recipes of the cookies you plan to serve at the party and frame them. Hang the framed recipes around the room and display them on the table. Place a framed recipe next to each batch that you made.
