How to Remove Cigarette Smoke From Clothes
- 1). Lay the clothing on a flat surface. Sprinkle baking soda over the clothing. Allow it to sit for one hour, and then brush it off or shake it off.
- 2). Launder the clothing according to the care label. Add a scoop of baking soda to the load in addition to the laundry detergent.
- 3). Add 1 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle.
- 4). Place the clothes in the dryer with a scented dryer sheet. Remove the clothing from the dryer. Store the clothes in a dresser or closet with scented dryer sheets.
