    • 1). Place a soft towel in the bottom of your sink. Fill the sink with warm water and add a few drops of a mild dish soap.

    • 2). Submerge and wash the Limoge china into the soapy water one piece at a time, so the pieces do not bang together, which can lead to chips, cracks and even breakage. In addition to this, don't wear any jewelry when washing china and keep china away from the sink faucet.

    • 3). Wipe the surface of the fine china with a soft cloth or sponge while it is still submerge in the soapy water. If the china has a tough spot or stain on it, add 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda on to your sponge and use that to scrub it away. You can also use regular toothpaste or make a paste of one tablespoon vinegar and one tablespoon salt and allow it to sit on the stain until it fades. Then, proceed with washing your china.

    • 4). Remove extreme stains or discoloration by soaking your china in peroxide. Your peroxide strength should be between 30 to 40 percent. You either submerge the stained china in a container of undiluted peroxide, or wrap it in peroxide soaked towels. Wrapping it works particularly well if the china only has certain spots that are stained or discolored because you can wrap only the spots that need fixing. Regardless of the method you use, check the item periodically and allow it to soak as long as it takes to get rid of the stains. This process can take several days up to two months.

    • 5). Remove the Limoge china from the sink of soapy water. Rinse it in a dishpan or sink of cold water. Put a towel at the bottom of the sink or dishpan to prevent breakage. Wipe away excess water with a soft towel. Place rinsed china pieces in a dish rack and allow them to air dry the rest of the way.

    • 6). Wipe dry china pieces with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to ensure it is dried and free of water spots. Put your china away, but put a paper towel between each plate to prevent chipping and scraping.

    • 7). Soak china that has hairline cracks in a pot of warm milk. Leave the piece to soak overnight, then rewash it before drying it and putting it away with the rest of your china.
