    • 1). Open the image with the color you want to find in Paint and use the eyedropper tool to sample the color.

    • 2). Open the "edit colors" toolbar in Paint. The color you have sampled will be there, along with its Red, Green and Blue (RGB) value. If the image you want to use the color in will be an RGB image, this is all you need. Otherwise you'll need to find the hexadecimal or CMYK equivalent.

    • 3). Find an online converter that will allow you to input RGB values and find their hexadecimal or CMYK equivalents. You can now use the specific color you were looking for in print or online.
